DC MAP provides education and training to primary care clinicians in the form of newsletters, webinars, lecture and other modalities.

We provide education and training on a range of topics pertaining to children’s mental health. This includes training and technical assistance on implementing routine, universal mental health screening.

As of July 1, 2013, DC Medicaid Managed Care Organizations are required to ensure annual mental health screenings by the beneficiaries’ Primary Care Provider, using an approved screening tool.  For more information on the currently approved screening tools, please click here.
